The borough offers free use of BeachWheels wheelchairs by appointment through the Beach Operations Headquarters at 26th Street, ocean block, (609) 494-9481. Officials ask that the wheelchair, which can be maneuvered through sand, only be used on Ship Bottom beaches. |

Directions to 'The Hedges' and 'Side II' : Take Exit 63 off the Garden State Parkway to 72 East. Stay on 72 East approximately for 3 miles. Proceed over the bridge onto Long Beach Island. Pass through 2 lights and a block until you reach Long Beach Blvd. Make a right and go 5 lights (appx.1 mile). Make a left onto E. 26th St. Our houses are on the right hand side.
